Cheaper pipelines and a faster rebuild at Daisee
Cut ETL costs by a third and delivered a front-end rebuild ahead of schedule for a call analytics platform.
- ETL running costs
- −35%
- ETL running costs
- of the allocated time to rebuild the front end
- 75%
- of the allocated time to rebuild the front end
The problem
Daisee analyses customer calls at scale. Its ETL pipelines were expensive to run, and the front end needed rebuilding on a modern stack.
How it fits together
- 01Call data
- 02AWS Lambda ETL
- 03PostgreSQL
- 04Next.js analytics app
What I did
- Refactored the AWS Lambda ETL pipelines that process call data.
- Rebuilt the front end with Next.js, React and TanStack Query.
- Led the creation of a cohesive design system in Figma for the new front end.
